What is the PRYCA Float-In:

A weekend of nautical fun and games with PRYCA members and their guests.

Weekend is open to those arriving by boat or by land! Please see below for suggested land options if you are not bringing a boat.

If you are bringing a boat, please indicate your boat name in the registration. If you are not bringing a boat and would like to find a boat, please reach out.

Friday Evening: Marina Crawl through Colonial Beach!

Saturday Morning: donuts, coffee and tea provided.

Saturday Lunch: please enjoy your lunch by patronizing any establishment that you choose.

Saturday Evening: Seasoned and grilled Beef Tenderloin with Horseradish sauce on the side; Grilled chicken breast Marsala; Shrimp cocktail served with cocktail sauce, Old Bay, and lemon; Yukon Gold mashed potato bar with bacon, sour cream, and shredded cheese; broccoli; Caesar salad; Yeast rolls with butter.

PRYCA Shirts:

PRYCA shirts can be purchased via eventbrite.

We have short sleeves and long sleeves,men's, women's (v-neck), kid's and tank styles. Blue or Red. $25.00

Friday Night (7/31/2026):

Mingle and get to know fellow boaters during a marina/bar crawl through Colonial Beach. Grab a drink and get something to eat from one of the many waterfront restaurants throughout the town. It'll be a blast!

Raffle Prizes and Gift Baskets

We are asking all of the clubs to donate Gift baskets or prizes to raffle off. Last year we had some great prizes and were able to raise money for PRYCA.

Important Dates:

Early registration for clubs: A bonus point will be awarded to clubs submitting their paid club registration form by June 1, 2026.

Points Towards The CUP:

All participants in The Cup Competition must be paid registrants of the Float-In.

(The Competition for The Cup includes the Seamanship Skills Trivia, Scavenger Hunt, games, Vessel Safety Check, and bonus point offers.)

Costs: Registration Fee: $100 per adult. Includes the meals listed above and all events. (Note: the cost was $150 last year.)

Slip Assignments:

All members will reserve their boat slips directly at one of the seven marinas throughout Colonial Beach with transient slips available. The slip availability at each marina is as follows:

-Bayside Marina-$2/foot, includes electricity and ice

45’+ with two 30 amps; Up to 35’ with two 30 amps; Up to 27’ with a single 30 amp

We will be sending out a Google form later to gather slip assignments from all registrants. No promo code to book slips this year. Please mention to all of the marinas that you are with PRYCA.

Colonial Beach Yacht Center offers both gas and diesel fuel.

Hotel Reservations:

Hotel reservations can be reserved through several of the Inns throughout town. Reservations can be made at the following:

RV hookups can be reserved at Monroe Bay Campground. Please mention the PRYCA 2026 Float In.

Transportation:

There are two golf cart rental companies who will deliver directly to the marinas. Their contact information is the following:

There is also a free town trolley that runs until 7PM daily.
